Installation method of Automatic Self-priming Pump :
1. When the self-priming pump is directly connected to the motor, attention should be paid to the coaxiality of the pump shaft and the output of the motor; the accuracy of the installation of the self-priming pump has a great influence on the running stability and service life of the self-priming pump. Therefore, it must be installed and calibrated carefully.
2. The pump coupling must be fastened with a nut, and the nut should be tightened to prevent the nut from loosening, otherwise, it will easily cause the impeller to move and cause mechanical failure.
3. In order to keep a certain amount of storage fluid in the pump body, in order to achieve better self-priming ability, and prevent the dry friction of the mechanical seal, the inlet of the pump must be higher than the middle line of the pump shaft.
4. Attention should be paid to the installation of the suction pipeline of the self-priming pump:
① The installation height of the suction port should not exceed 3.5 meters. When conditions permit, the installation height of the suction port should be as low as possible below the low water storage level of the pool, the length of the suction pipe should be shortened as much as possible, and fewer elbows should be installed, which is conducive to shortening the Self-priming time, improve self-priming function.
②The valves, flanges, etc. in the suction pipeline should be strictly prevented from leaking air or liquid, that is, no air leakage is allowed in the suction pipeline.
③The suction of solids and other sundries in the pump should be prevented, and a filter should be installed on the suction pipeline for this purpose. The effective filtering area of the filter should be 2-3 times the section of the suction pipe, and the filter should be checked regularly.
④ The suction pipeline and the discharge pipeline should have their own brackets, and the pump body itself is not allowed to bear the load of the pipeline.
5. When installing the self-priming pump, the electrostatic grounding resistance of the pump and pipeline should meet its specified requirements.
6. Strictly check whether there are stones in the pump casing and pipeline during installation. Iron sand and other debris.
7. Correct the installation clearance and coaxiality of the pump coupling and motor coupling, and the allowable deviation of the different coaxial is 0.1 mm. The height difference between the pump shaft and the motor shaft can be adjusted by placing copper or iron sheets on the feet.
8. After the actual operation of the unit for 3-4 hours, make a post-inspection, and the installation has been completed. During the test run, the temperature of the bearing should be checked. If there is no bad phenomenon, it is considered that the temperature of the bearing body should not exceed 70C.
9. Where the cooling water joint of the pump bearing body is equipped with a cooling chamber device for the rubber hose or plastic pipe with an inner hole of '12, its thread size is M12X 1.250
10. If a one-way valve is installed on the outlet pipeline of the self-priming pump and the pump cannot discharge gas smoothly during the self-priming process, a small exhaust pipe and valve should be connected to the outlet of the pump.
