Care and Maintenance of Vortex Water Pump :

(1) Check whether the vortex pump pipeline and joints are loose. Turn the vortex pump by hand to see if the vortex pump is flexible.

(2) Add bearing lubricating oil to the bearing body of the vortex pump, observe that the oil level should be at the center line of the oil mark, and the lubricating oil should be replaced or replenished in time.

(3) Unscrew the water diversion screw plug of the vortex pump body, and pour water (or slurry).

(4) Close the gate valve, outlet pressure gauge, and inlet vacuum gauge of the water outlet pipeline.

(5) Jog the motor of the vortex pump, and try to see if the motor is turning correctly.

(6) Start the motor. When the vortex pump is running normally, open the outlet pressure gauge and the inlet vacuum pump to see the appropriate pressure, then gradually open the gate valve, and check the load of the motor at the same time.

(7) Try to control the flow rate and head of the vortex pump within the range indicated on the label to ensure that the vortex pump operates at the highest efficiency point, so as to obtain the greatest energy-saving effect.

(8) During the operation of the vortex pump, the bearing temperature should not exceed the ambient temperature of 35C, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 80C.

(9) If abnormal noise is found in the vortex pump, it should be stopped immediately to check the cause.

(10) When the vortex pump is to be stopped, first close the gate valve and pressure gauge, and then stop the motor.

(11) Within the first month of operation, the vortex pump should change the lubricating oil after 100 hours, and then change the oil once every 500 hours.

(12) The vortex pump often adjusts the packing gland to ensure that the dripping in the packing chamber is normal (preferably dripping).

(13) Regularly check the wear of the shaft sleeve, and replace it in time after the wear is large.

14) When the vortex pump is used in the cold winter season, after parking, it is necessary to unscrew the drain plug at the lower part of the pump body to drain the medium. Prevent frost cracking.
